The perfect chassis setup for significantly more driving dynamics
If you have already made the first performance modifications to your sporty road vehicle, it is easy to incorporate them into the damper tuning in a targeted manner with the KW V3. KW’s patented valve technology for separate tuning of rebound and compression damping allows you to customize KW’s basic vehicle-specific tuning. For example, the KW floor valve, which can be adjusted in twelve clicks in the low-speed range of the compression damping, gives you the leeway to even take the tire characteristics of your high- and ultra-high-performance road tires into account when tuning the suspension.
Thanks to the patented pressure stage adjustment at the lower piston end of the stainless steel housing, you didn’t even need any tools to do this. The adjustable compression tuning with its twelve precise clicks allows you to manually influence body roll and sway without having to change the rebound damping that optimally matches the spring rate.
With the KW V3’s individually adjustable rebound tuning, you can directly influence handling and comfort through precise click adjustment. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers are tuned at the upper end of the piston rod via an integrated adjusting wheel or the clip-on adjusting wheel included in the scope of delivery.
By increasing the tensile force via the adjusting wheel, the body movements on the car body are reduced. As a result, your car drives more true to track and you have even more stability at increased cornering speeds. For example, if you switch from the approved wheel/tire combinations of your car manufacturer to larger rims, you can use the KW V3 to perfectly match the handling of your car and your new alloy wheels.

Even during production, the KW V3 is subjected to extensive quality tests and each individual damper is checked. This is the only way we can live up to our claim of providing a warranty of up to five years when a KW coilover V3 is installed by a KW dealer. Thanks to the filigree workmanship and the use of high-quality components, KW’s stainless steel coil spring struts, for example, are 100 percent rustproof and have an unlimited service life.
This means that the functionality of the stepless lowering via the dirt-resistant KW trapezoidal thread and the KW polyamide threaded ring is not impaired even after years. The individual lowering with its infinitely variable adjustment range allows you to visually emphasize the sportiness of your vehicle.
